Any recommendations welcomed, also needs to accept compatible cartridges. Mostly used for text, but nice if it could print a half decent photo. My old faithful epsom 680 has given up the ghost.Alan
Absent, i also had an Epson 680 7 years mine lasted, superb piece of kit...click herei then bought meself one of these, cant fault it, works superbly well with compats, (set of four) silly cheapclick here
The Epson range show some inexpensive models and from my experience with a C44UX accept compatible cartridges readily.I currently have a Lexmark, which will take compatibles, but is expensive to run. I don't recommend it.

The best bargain around at present, if you also want more versatility, is the Epson MFD DX4400/4450 at just £39.Even just as a printer it takes some beating.
