Need more hard drive space

Hi Techno brains,

I need more space on my hard drive and have tried both disk cleanup and add/remove program but still need more space on my old 5GB hard drive. Disfragmenting would not function effectively unless I have at least 15% of space which I have not got anyway as I am down to around 750MB. Any advice will be helpful. I use Pentium 3 and operate on Windows XP.

5GB is very small. You need a bigger drive. They're pretty cheap just now.

So, you've already uninstalled ALL the programs you don't really need?

Now clean out all the leftover crap with click here

Although, to be honest, Snec's suggestion is the best option

Repeating the above largely
It would be useful if we knew more about your computer age/operating system/ drive etc for us to give a more comprehensive assistance

If you have a burn capable CD drive then burn on to CD all the stuff you need to keep. and delete all the programs you do not use.
A new HDD is a simple thing to install thus you can use it for storage.
Or an external USB hard drive for storage simpler still
