This may sound a little stupid but its valid argument. My mate has Toshiba Satellite 4030 CDT laptop. He wants to increase his RAM as he got 32MB. Just been looking at crucial.com/uk located the model but is says it has one slot for the RAM is 32MB non-removable, but then offers 64MB and 128MB to be purchased. eg: click here So what happens if you take out the non-removable memory and insert new RAM cheers
The exact question was asked and validly answered a couple of days ago.
abolakrami, as I said in my first reply to you, the first 32 is fixed and non re-movable!The one slot is to take extra ram up to a max of 160 mb, this figure includes the 32 meg of fixed ram.
sorry mate still having probs understanding thats way i re-posed.i understand there is 32MB is fixed of RAM and is non re-movable.So is there 1 extra slot available to put in RAMcheers
Yes, the memory that is in at the moment is fixed and can't be taken out.The one slot is for the memory that you will buy, but remember not to go over 160 in total. :o)
