is there a need for extra free security products on top of a good payed for internet security suite like Kaspersky or Bullguard?

also, will having extra software like AVG antivirus or another antispyware program cause problems with the existing security suite?

Never run two full time security suites together, it's inviting problems.

You can run scanners like Superantispyware and Adaware which will work fine together. Yes it is worth having a scanner or two but not for daily use.

You should only have 1 anti virus software program installed at any one time.
Having other anti spyware problems installed does not cause a problem.
Whether it is worthwhile having additional security programs installed is an ongoing subject for debate on this forum

Hi, You can only have one Antivirus program,

As for Antispyware you can have several BUT only scan with one at a time,

So if you have Kaspersky and it has real time scanning of Antispyware you should not use another real time scanner {they will conflict}

I use SAS Superantispyware FREE it is a on demand scanner so I just run it when I want to,

You must keep it updated though,

One Antispyware program will-not pick up everything that;s why it;s best to have two or more,
