Need To Convert IDE to a Sata DvdRW

I have an old old pc which uses IDE Cables/Connections and i bought a new DVD-RW, i didnt notice i need SATA cables, i looked for converters but they looked like they wouldnt work or maybe im just too dumb :). Anyway what is a good idea to convert my IDE cable to connect to the SATA DvdRW? Thanks

click here or click here You`ll need the Sata to IDE converter and one for the power. Adding the two together would be more than the cost of the DVD Drive - I suggest you just return it and get the right one!

All good options but not as cheap as swapping the drive. Ambra - picture on your link isn`t very good. I assume that device just clips into the Sata connector on the DVD Drive and allows the IDE ribbon Cable to be attached. If so would you need a separate power converter or do the drives have the option of the Molex connector for that?
