Need advice on extending C drive on windows 8?

My C: Drive has only 103GB of space - with only 18 free, meaning i can't really do much with that. But i do have my E: drive with 2.72TB of space but i'm unable to use the majority of this. I was wondering what the best way to go about this is, am i able to take away some space on my E drive and extend my C with it? or is it possible to just change them around completely by swapping what goes where? I know you can use disk management and move things around a bit.. but i'm really unsure on how to do this. Any help would be appreciated?

Why not just move Picture, documents and music files over to your E: drive and deleting programs you do not used.
