A friend an myself were searching the net for a program that could convert mp3 files to wav files , we found a free program from a site , but , that isnt the problem , to get to the point ... after we installed it and found that it wasnt what we were looking for we uninstalled it but since then we found something called NavExcel Toolbar on Internet Explorer , I ran Scan Spyware and it found/deleted it but each time we restart the computer after we type in the password to start windows and before the desktop appears we hear a 'ping' the desktop then shows but without the icons and taskbar , all that is on the screen in a popup saying

"NavExcel Search Toolbar Uninstallation

The NavExcel toolbar has been succesfully uninstalled. Some Files may still be in use and will be removed when Windows is restarted .. it includes an OK button ... when OK is clicked everything runs as usual but a lot slower than usual .... we have restared numerous tyimes but the popup is always there , weve ran the spyware scan again but it doesnt find anything ....

is there anything that can be done ??????

cheers
