I know I can delete history on the web. Is it possible to delete, My most Recent Documents that comes under Start?

right click them and choose remove from list or use this click here ccleaner it's free and excellent.

Start - Settings - Task Bar & Start Menu - Start Menu tab - Customise - Clear.

I am about to run cleaner, is there anything that I should not a tick in before I go ahead and delete? Thank you for your advice.

I am also looking DieSse I cannot see Settings. I clicked on search and found Documents and Settings. There are three, All Users, Ms Right, then Browse.odb looks like a folder 22x22x16m. This is going off the subject but do you think it is alright to delete this one. Where will I find Settings to carry on with Task Bar & Start Menu tab etc

He measn right-click Start > Properties. It's in there.

No - I didn't mean that - but I use the Classic start menu - and that's prolly why mine isn't quite the same.

I'm always forgetting some people use the new XP start menu settings (which I hate!) - sorry.

So ade.h is right - for you -

Right click on Start - choose Properties - Start Menu tab - Customise - Advanced tab - Clear list.

You can also set it not to give a list.

I am following to clear list. I have ticks and dots. in boxes and rings. one is Enable dragging and dropping, Is there anything that I should know before I clear the list? Do not want to clear out something I regret later.

Sorry my mistake. I think it means just recent documents. so I am going to click on clear list. Thank you.
