My Pictures

Up until May 2005 my card reader sent my digital pictures straight into My pictures. Now it doesn't. They go straight into Adobe Photoshop which is less flexible. How do I return to former state ?

Go to 'options' in your card reader software and change the destination.

plug in your card reader/press start/my computer/
you will see removeable disk you may have more than one since card readers have severall slots,
rgt click on the one you use for photos/properties/then autoplay/here select the program you wish the device to start with.

if the program you want to use is not in the list then, browse, to find it click on it to allways open with this program.

in the registered users at top of page click on absolute beginners and post your problem there

Can I suggest this is a file association problem.

Go to My Pictures in Windows Explorer

Right click on any JPEG file go down to Open With

Click on bottom option 'Open With' you should have a selection of programmes Select OPEN WITH WINDOWS PICTURE & FAX VIEWER and you won't go to Photoshop next time.

No need to go in the Kindergarden Class
