my pc keeps shutting down and repeating fatal memory card failure please help

Desktop or laptop? More information about the PC would help. How much memory (RAM, not size of hard disk) was fitted? Can you remove one memory card and still leave some in the PC and try again?

its a desktop with 1024 megabytes . have not removed any memory cards not sure how too

To remove the ram module just press down on the white locking tabs on the side of the memory


When reinstalling make sure that the location slot is correct as the memory only fit in one way

and that the memory is firmly pressed down and locked with the locking tabs
