I run a message Board for my local footie club. Is it possible that two different PCs in different areas can end up having the same IP Address on the board. If so How can it be stopped.. IT is the same IP Address all the time it dont change. Someone is leaving messages and they have the same ip address as my mate.. Please help.

Only if going through a proxy will they have the same address.

An IP address is unique to each computer, but there will be one unique address for a proxy/router as well.

Get your "mate" to do IPCONFIG /ALL (from a dos prompt) to check his IP address. See if it matches the one on the board.
