My fiends monitor looks blue

My firend recently run in to a little problem his screen looks all blue click here He tried to reset monotors settings. It was working perfectly recently. His graphics card is Nvidia.

When it happened to me the diagnosis was a failed signal cable connecting the PC to the monitor. Not really surprising if you think that your PC is back against the wall on most and the cable gets wiggled more often than you might think

Borrow even an old VGA cable before you buy!

How is it connected? Often, those symptoms are caused by a poor connection between the PC and monitor - not all the colours are getting from one end of the cable to the other. That can be faulty plugs on the cable, faulty sockets, loose connections or a faulty cable. It's not usually the graphics card.
