Hi, i have a big e-mail problem and no idea how to fix it.
When i send out an e-mail the person keeps getting it over and over again to the point that it is annoying.
One mail was recieved over 50 times. I am now worried about sending mail out. i am using Outlook Express.

And if you send an e-mail to yourself, how many times do you receive that?

Just tried that and so far it hasn't come back after 3 minuts. mail usually comes straight in.
does that make a difference that it hasn't come back yet?

still hasn't come back so i guess the answer is none

is it just one person receiving numerous emails or everyone in your address book/

  eysha 21:59 12 Feb 2009

everyone that i send an e-mail too, not my address book.

Hmm. Outlook Express is really the Dinasour of email managers ;-)
Try installing Mozilla Thunderbird click here
During the insallation you will be asked to import everything from OE. Do it, you won't look back :-)

I don't think that it's anything to do with your e-mail client (Outlook Express).

I've been using "the Dinasour of email managers" for years and years without experiencing this sort of problem.

I wonder if your PC is being used as an e-mail zombie.

Try running a full scan with your AV and an anti-malware scan with something like A-Squared.

what is a- squared and where do i get it from and is it free?
what is an e-mail zombie?
if that is the problem will thunderbird cure it?

"what is a- squared and where do i get it from and is it free?"

It's an anti-malware scanner. It's free click here

"what is an e-mail zombie?"

Your PC may have been compromised in such a way that your e-mail address book is being used to send duplicate and/or 'spam' e-mails.

"if that is the problem will thunderbird cure it?"

No

Yes A-Squared is free & an excellent software. You can find it here click here
