Hello everyone. Just recently my d/c keys on my laptop have stopped functioning properly, and what i mean by this is that they will keep turning off and on randomely. Anyone know any fixes that doesn't involve me taking it to the shop as i have an assessment week an need my laptop as it contains important work.

Press Windows key+R and type osk.exe for the on-screen keyboard in the meantime (although it's not ideal)

Or see Control panel Ease of access Center

Youtube yourmake yourmodel keyboard replacement

£10-20 hopefully if it's a normal keyboard on ebay or amazon.

Backlit and recessed ones can be a bit more tricky.

Switch off

Turn the laptop upside down an blow a hairdryer (on cool) across the keyboard to dislodge all the crumbs and dust gathered in there.
