Multiple Threads

  Cesar 10:13 11 Jul 2004

I have noticed that some forumites are posting Multiple Threads on the same subject as many as three or four, This will not help you and it takes up valuable space and denies other users to get there threads posted, please confine yourself to one thread in the future.

Multiple threads are often caused totally inadvertantly when the site is busy and not responding in the 'normal' time.

Members click the post button, nothing happens so they press it again and again - hey presto when the site catches up you have two ot three identical threads.

All they really need to do is tick the additional ones with a quick message explaining. Then we all post to one thread.

No one fault just one of those things.

Agree with bremner's post, sometime it is the slowness of the system and not the posters fault.

But I have notice, that the same enquiry questions are appearing in both the Helproom and ConsumerWatch sections under slightly different guises sometimes.Perhaps the same poster thinks, by double posting they will get double the results in double fast time!!.

This thread is now locked and can not be replied to.
