Multiple HDD

Hi All,

Sorry if this has been covered already. I have two SATA hard drives in my computer at the moment, 250Gb (C) and a 750Gb (D). Windows and all my program files are stored on C and my photo's and backups are stored on D. Both drives are NTFS.

If I unplugged D from my mother board, and rebuilt my system on C, standard full format reinstall of Windows, then would I be able to replug the D drive and get the Data off it as before. I think I can but I dont want to risk the 600Gb of data on there.

Thanks
Mark
