Multi user internet

  pub 17:41 28 Jan 2007

This may sound a silly question, but how can I get an internet connection for every user on my PC.I have 4 users of my PC,wife and two children. We each have our own desktop settings from start-up (using Windows XP).Only mine however has the short cuts to broadband (Tiscali). If one of the family want to get onto the internet they have to log out then log into my desktop. This may be something easy I`ve missed but I`m damned if I can find it.

The interface that comes up when you connect will have two radio buttons on it "ME ONLY" and "ANYBODY WHO
USES COMPUTER" click the anybody who uses this comp.

You may just be able to copy the Tiscali start up shortcut from your account to All users.

Right-click on the Green Start button on the bottom right of the desktop.

In the folders list you will see a list of account one with your name. Click the plus next to this and then click the plus next to "Desktop" folder find the Taascali shortcut. You can now drag and drop this into the "Desktop" folder under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users. This will make the program available to everyone logging on.
