what is MSSQL SERVER?
what does it do?
why do i need it?
and finally...................


where the f#~* did it come from.

It's Microsoft SQL Server program. SQL stands for 'Structured Query Language'.

Unless you are running a database server, it shouldn't be on your computer. Where did it come from? I don't know, but you do need to look into what is using it.
