Hi, I often use the "Request Remote Assistance" to help friends out on their PCs. However, there is one user who cannot connect to me - whether I am at my home or office PC - so I suspect there is a problem her end. It used to work but has not for a good few months. Sadly I don't know what has changed to stop it working.
Basically, she - hits Actions=> Request Remote Assistance in an MSN chat windown with me - I get the note to ACCEPT - The "Help and Support" window pops up with "Attempting to connect to user ...." - and there it stays ... forever. No error, nothing.
She uses a Netgear router to connect to broadband with an inbuilt firewall with default settings (same as I do) and that's it security wise I think.
Any suggestions on how I can find the source of the prob? thanks Mike
