MSN Messenger on startup

  aitch 14:52 19 May 2003

I have been using windows update over the last few days and signed up for win messenger but it takes over on startup for normal use, and also seems to hijack my ISP home page(freeserve)to become a default, when I connect to the web. I have checked through control panel/settings etc and my default page is freeserve, but how can i stop win messenger from taking over? Any help much appreciated,Aitch

Hi Aitch
I use MSN Messenger and I go into tools - options and then under the General tab deselect the items that you want to disable like start when windows opens etc

Thanks, Treb, so simple a solution I'm afraid to say i missed it. All ok now.
