MSN Messenger question

I know that with MSN you can save a conversation, but is there a way to stop my son from unsaving the conversations?

He can use MSN very well, but I feel he is 'up to no good' and I dont want profanities or Porn going through my IP address.

we are running win XP on a decent enough set up. I want him to use MSN but not be able to stop me from monitoring his conversations..... and no I am not a control freak!

thanks in advance from a concerned father.....

Give him the seveerest(severest) of warnings and trust him.I had a spell where I was concerned about my daughter possibly downloading music, so I told her the consequences, Internet gone, Computer gone, me with a huge fine or in prison and her homeless coz I'm a single parent. I've had no trouble.

Give him guidance and trust him, anyway how can you monitor his messages, does he not sign out when he finishes ?

How refreshing to hear good old fashioned 'parental advice' which is desperatley lacking these days ! I would also add that I gave similar advice to my children a few years ago, never had a problem !
