msn messenger

A relative of mine is having trouble setting up msn messenger. I am told that cookies are preventing the page being opened. She is currently using AOL dial up in the states. I understand that the pc came with Aol ready to go. Could this have any thing to do with it?

I don't think you can use MSN Messenger with AOL. Perhaps an AOL user can confirm this. I believe AOL has its own instant Messenger.

That is a theory that she is led to believe, I use NTL, but have msn messenger, i also signed up to AOL messenger, the problem is AOL doesn't seem to support webcams, and i know and have seen working msn messenger with webcam.
If someone can tell me that AOL can be used with webcam and how then job done!!
