MSN Link Virus...

i recently got got a virus from a link i was passed on msn....the website been chaptr.org, and it now sends the links to others i'm just checking pc for viruses and spyware but was wondering if anyone has had this?

You cannot get a virus just by visitng a site, you would have to click on a box and even then it is unlikely. Well, I've been clicking away merrily and with no viruses. There is an anti-spyware link that pops up even if you click 'no'. Apart from that, fine. What was the 'virus' called that you got.

no it was a virus there are files on my pc which open every online msn contact and sends them the link...there are files in losdsa directories
