Can anybody help me to get rid of MSN as the default browser kindly put in by Microsoft. My O/S is XP Professional, the one that Microsoft tells us what to have on our machines.

Do you mean as the default home-page, if so just press Ctrl+D to st any page as your home page, if you mean the program that you use to surf the web, just use Netscape instead of Internet Explorer

This did not resolve it. I forgot to say I am using broadband and I want to use my broadband ISP as my default home page, not MSN.

navigate to the page you want, select tools -internet options-general tab-home page-press use current.
