I am building a new linux box.

Is the MSI KM4-M-L motherboard compatable, has anyone tried it?

Gareth

I notice its got USB 2,having had major hassles with USB 1.1,depending on your linux ability could mean its a struggle to get this working.I presume its onboard audio is AC97,linux(recent distros)doesn't seem to have a problem with it.Onboard graphics(yuk)should work OK too.

Ok, thanks.

Seems it should work.

yes I realise the Onboard graphics are erm.. very poor. This is going to be used for programing and server uses so that shouldnt be a problem.

Not too bothered about USB 2.0 but I can give compiling the driver a go for it in some free time.

Gareth

PS. Any further comments before I buy tomorrow are appreciated in advance!

I just googled for a spec sheet on that mobo, methinks your getting it to add linux to,not planning on wimpdoze,so you should be OK.
