Hello all,
I have an old P2 350Mhz Packard Bell 2001v2Platinum system.
I have replaced the CPU with P3 700Mhz FSB 100Mhz Processor. My AMI bios only allows me to go upto 550Mhz. Win ME and System Info picks it up as 700Mhz. My Question......is it actually running at 700mhz if bios only allows adjustment to 550mhz?
One other question...MSI website has bios updates, but they are all Award bioses for this MB!! Can i flash the AMI bios with AWARD bios? I take full responsibility. My Bios info is:(via utility)
