I installed Microsoft Works Suite 2005 on a friend's PC. The PC has 2 user accounts - an Administrator account and a User account which has been set up as a Power User.
As is normal I logged into the Administrator account to install Works. However, on logging into the User account Works is not accessible. When the Works icon is clicked the process aborts with the message "Access denied. You may not have sufficient priveledges....etc.."
Sometimes during an installation the install wizard will ask "This user only or all users?" The Works install wizard does not ask this question. So this isn't the problem.
As a test I installed the same software on an almost identical PC with an identical user setup. No problem. Works is accessible from all user accounts.
