MS Word: Table

  Declanworld 20:19 25 Mar 2009

I've created a table, centred (allegedly)and just about filling a single page. The problem is that, because of a blank line below the table, it isn't truly centred vertically.

I can find no reference to the issue on The Net and Microsoft advise only to centre it in the way I did originally.

Apart from making the offending line 1 point in font size and 1 point in paragraph spacing, does anyone know a way of making it disappear completely?

I don't think that you can get rid of the line.

A messy way might be to make the bottom margin slightly lower, so that it is centred physically on the page.

You could try inserting a section break (Insert, Break, Section Break - Next Page) at the bottom right hand corner of the table. This should leave you with the table centred, but it will put an extra, possibly unnecessary, page in the document.

Folks - I was advised to select the page and to format all text to be hidden. It worked!

Thanks for your time.
