MS Publisher problem

I inherited the editing of a local newsletter that contains adverts. One of the adverts is entirely text and some of that text is badly positioned (eg. misaligned; gap in the middle of a line; etc.) I can't change it because the text has been placed in a picture frame instead of in a text frame. Can anyone suggest a way to solve this - other than starting from scratch and re-typing all the text into a text box, always assuming I can work out which fonts have been used & whether I have them on my PC.

If its in a picture frame then it is a picture and not text. Maybe someone scanned the advert, saved as a JPG and put it in as a picture.
The only thing I can think of would be to print it then scan it using a good OCR programme, which will make it text editable.

thanks Ditch999. yours arrived just after i'd finished re-typing it - wish I'd waited!
Anyway, that sounds like a good suggestion and may help others.
