MS Messenger Audio Problem

  Sailorbuoy 22:51 20 Sep 2004

Has anyone actually got Messenger to work on Video Conference? I cannot get around the lack of my audio getting out, no one receives my audio, although I sometimes get theirs.
The audio test is ok, I get responce in speakers from the mic, I have the sound guage but no active bars on my side.
I have an ADSL router, Voyager 2000 with NATS firewall. all ports 1863,6901,9000,9010 are open for two way traffic . I have installed Upnp and TCiP services ticked in Windows system components.
Can anyone suggest a solution to resolve this as video conference is fustrating without the sound.

This was the response from Microsoft.
I have completed this and awaiting trial. ( after a reformat!)
Please post if this solves your problem.>

Packet Scheduler check box. Here are the steps:

>1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
>2. Click Network and Internet connections, and then click Network
>3. Right-click the icon for the network or Internet connection, and then
>click Properties.
>4. Clear the QoS Packet Scheduler check box, and then restart the
