mpg to dvd

I have recently bought an NEC DVD writer and want to transfer several music video clips onto a DVD, these clips are in .mpg format, please could you tell me what the procedure is.

have you got nero 5.5 or 6 if so use nero exspress select video and pictures then vcd then select the files you want to burn to disk and nero will do it for you. if they are mpg 1 files.you can do mpeg 2 if you have the plug in codec.mpg 1 is not dvd quality so you may be aswell burning them to cd unless you have a lot to fill a whole dvd.also check that your dvd player(domestic) suppourts the vcd format as not all do.darren

Most modern DVD burner software (I'm familiar with Roxio and Sonic MyDVD) will allow you to simply drag and drop your MPEG files to create a DVD or VCD (depending on what type of MPEG the files are), as described by dazzling.
