Why don't you just put the DVD into your player and try it.

If it doesn't play then the answer is NO.

I have several DVD players. Some will play MP4 files, some won't.

The thing to do is look at the manual or, as pj123 recommends and try it.

Can I respectfully suggest that you are a little more patient in waiting for your answers. Even as I write this, your question has been posted for less than two hours. Remember that the people who reply on this forum do it on an entirely voluntary basis and many work for a living and it may not be convenient for them to respond immediately. As it is, I think the response has been quick and helpful.
