You will need to lower the Bitrate to something like 64kbps as opposed to probably 128kbps. click here

No doubt you will probably lose quality.

Wak - I read the thread and thought I'd give switch a try.

Thought you and anyone else might like to know that at the end of the installtion my AV (Kaspersky 6) found loads of Trojans.

I uninstalled it all.

No problem here, Avast 4;
Wavepad (optionally installed with Switch) can load RealAudio files and save them in another format, just what I've been looking for.

Kind of suggests Avast 4 isn't very good.

What were these trojans? I've just scanned the installation file and installed and run a scan and I found nothing.

  Wak 14:44 23 Nov 2006

I've had the Switch program installed for ages and never had problems with trojans or anything else. I also run Avast along with Spyblocker, Bazooka, A2, Spybot S&D, Spywareblaster, Crapcleaner and Adaware, all regularly updated. I would have thought that they would find any problems between them if there was anything to find.
Could you have picked the trojans up anywhere else??

aziz7733 windows media player can create MP3s, for another free one then perhaps Audiograbber click here its free and works well, you do need to download the LAME decoder to allow you to alter the file sizes but its freeware as well. Full instructions on the website.
