I have an old but very good MP3 player, and I cannot get the software to open since XP arrived! the manufacturer Saehan has no solution, it uses the com port in ECP mode for connection, can anyone help??

mabe you should buy a new mp3 player, u can get em for 20quid for a 1gb from argos, i think that you can use an mpy player throught that because it is old and xp used usb form most devices, like flash drives , ipods, mp3 and so on.

The only hope I can offer is this, click here, it's a linux driver for the mpman. Of course this would entale you using linux, poss as dual boot with your xp.

Or this, click here, I'm not entirely sure whether this will work.

!! Important Read: Compatibility with Music Converter Release 12 !! Link on the above page

Dload and install Sveta Portable Audio™ (30 day trial).

Next, go to the bottom of the page to Sveta Portable Drivers, click on the MPman & Saehan & Eiger labs link and the next page offers you a dload for the MPMan F20 Sveta driver dload and install this.

Hope this helps.
