I really want to try thunderbird but when i have installed it I cannot stop it asking for my password to access my e-mails. How do I stop this, from install procedure to running software.

I have looked in the Mozillazine forums for your answer.

It would appear that the best way is to delete your username and password from 'Saved passwords'. The next time you open Thunderbird and it asks for your password etc, you enter them and you should be given the option of saving.

Passwords stored here:
TOOLS > OPTIONS > ADVANCED > MANAGE STORED PASSWORDS
