Mozilla Firefox trouble

How can I configure Mozilla Firefox to run the windows genuine validation tool? I am trying to download the Autoplay Repair Wizard from the MS download centre. Apparently it needs ActiveX control. The option to install it is not displayed. It says:
“If you don't see an ActiveX dialogue box or the Internet Explorer Info Bar your Web browser may not configured to run the components or scripts required by the genuine Windows ordering process. Please try using this alternate method”. The alternate method does not work either. It comes back with an Internet Explore Script Error.
Also, where is the right click to create a shortcut on the desktop gone?

the right click to create a shortcut on the desktop: this is an extension called mozillaCut or something like that.

You will need to use IE I think for the autorepair wizard.
