Mozbackup problem

I have used Thunderbird for some time on an XP computer and have just bought a Windows 7 computer. I used Mozback up to back up all files, settings, email addresses etc from the Thunderbird on the XP machine. I copied the Mozbackup backup file onto the desktop if the windows 7 machine and also into My Documents on the windows 7 machine. I then downloaded Thunderbird (v 3) from the internet onto the windows 7 machine, launched it and tried to import the backed up settings from the Mozbackup file on the desktop. The Windows 7 machine has launched an "Import wizard" and opened a dialogue box stating "Import files from ..... " but the rest of the box is blank and clicking on Next has no effect. How can I get Thunderbird on my new windows 7 machine to recognise the Mozbackup file that's sitting on its desktop? Any advice gratefully received.

You need to install Mozbackup on the new machine and use it to restore the saved profile from the XP machine.
