Moving Outlook Express messages

  TATHS 16:53 07 Feb 2009

I have received a message that my "outlook express folder is full" so I need to move some older messages to a different drive to free up space.
I can do this by saving each individual message to a designated folder and then deleting it on the c drive but with 2000 or so messages this will be extremely slow. If I try to save multiple messages the "save" and "Save as" buttons are greyed out. Is there a quick way to bulk move files using explorer or even a bought in program

On the desktop create and name a new folder to receive the emails. Then open OE Inbox and reduce the window size so you can see the folder you have just made. Highlight all the emails you want to move (using Shift and/or Ctrl) and then use the mouse to drag the whole batch into the folder. Open the folder to check they are all there, and then delete the whole batch from your Inbox.
