A friend of mine has an ancient xp pc and is about to by a new vista premium pc. Is there a straight forward way to move al of his existing 8gig itune folder to his new pc, I have googled this problem but get conflicting answers, some have suggested copying the exixting itunes folderonto a memeory stick amd then copy it to new pc's itunes folder. I have read that this wont work has anybody got a definitive answer as to correct way to do this
many thanks

I have moved my ITunes from one pc to another via a memory stick. Just copied the ITUnes folder in my music with all it contained. Worked with no problem.
From my desktop (XP) to my laptop (Vista).

You should be able to copy all of the music files in your iTunes folder then copy them back on to the other pc and set up iTunes to look in the copied folder.
