Moving to DSL, will an ADSL router work?

Hello,
Ive just moved to a house which has fully kitted out with telewest, so we are thinking of moving to them. We own a D-Link DSL-902 54Mbps ADSL router from our previus house. I am wondering if this will work on the DSL line?

If not i will need to buy a new one. How easy is DSL to setup?

thanks

Cable services = cable modem + cable/DSL router
ADSL services = ADSL modem/router

you will need a new router as ade.h has said something like a netgear or linksys are easy to set up even I can do it.

I think Linksys, Buffalo or 3Com would be my choices for cable.
