Mouse that won't obey the speed limit.

My Logitech Genius mouse has suddenly started being very disobedient, whizzing across the screen as though a thousand cats are after it. Whatever the slow speed (or enhanced accuracy) I set and apply in Control Panel, within a very short time, it goes from glacier speed to torrent.

Could it perhaps be connected with a series of driver updates that were installed after I paid for a contract with Driver Detective? I'm completely flummoxed, as they say up here in Lancashire....

Why would you pay for Driver Detective when you can check and download the latest driver

for free using Device Doctor

I would suggest that you uninstall the Logitech Genius Mouse Drivers and reinstall the original

Logitech Genius Mouse Drivers than run Device Doctor
