My mouse has been all over the place for the past coupl of days so i went to control panel/mouse/pointer options, i ajusted the speed but still it was a bit wobbly, the i went to the pointer tab where i was struck with this mesage:
The C:\WINDOWS\System32\windows default file which contains ' Normal selet' cursor is either missing or corrupt.
After this message all i can do is restart or lo of etc. Does anyone know how i can restore this file or find it!

Sorry Xp home

First, if it's a battery powered mouse, are they running out of juice...?

Secondly, try SFC to find the missing file or files.

Thirdly, you could go to Device Manager, Remove the mouse and then reboot.

Windows should find it again and reinstall the driver.

With XP you'd better read:

and

first...:-)

It's a little different from previous versions of Windows.
