Mouse Problems

  Robert Stack 07:00 31 Dec 2005

I just got my new razer copperhead mouse, the problem is when I start my computer I have to have a ps2 converter on it. After everything is loaded the mouse with the ps2 converter on it doesn't work. I then remove the converter and plug the mouse into a usb port and then my mouse starts working. When I try to change the settings of dpi, etc. The pc says that there is no usb mouse recognized, how can you help?

Try booting into the BIOS (try tapping F8)after the first screens appear on the pc. Yrhen look for something like 'Enable USB legacy support' change it to yes or enabled and save and reboot the pc with the mouse plugged into the USB slot.

If you are not to sure on this please tell us the make/model of the pc and what operating system you are using.
