Mouse Connection

My old computer uses a serial mouse connection.
Is it possimle to connect a modern mouse with
an adaptor...?.

You can pick up a PS/2 -> Serial for 4.70 but then postage high click here...

Bus a serial mouse is the same price!! click here

You prob b able to find a cheaper option as just a local one off pc shop..

Simple answer-Yes.

eBuyer click here have some very cheap mice, especially in their Chic and own value brand.But as ste_bla states, check your local PC shop.Mouse and adapter about £4.00

Serial mice are very cheap.

Serial-USB and Serial-PS2 connections are easily available but do not always work. Why, I have no idea.

That has been my personal experience, after being told here that it would be no problem.

If the adapter is a loose fit or bulky in dimensions, then watch out for disconnections or error messages.This can also occure if the mouse cable is of a short length.Very easy to dislodge, with some brands.
