I would like to build a new PC using some of my exsisting hardware, namely, the GPU 7800gtx,Maxtor 300gb sata 2, and Antec Neo 550 HE PSU.
I would like to get an Intel 6600 CPU with new DDR2 Ram 2gb (2x1gb), but am not sure about which motherboard. If possible I was thinking of maybe overclocking this time.
I know that my current CPU is holding back my graphics card (P4 550)3400.I can gain 25% more frame rates by turning off hyperthreading in the bios.
The new build will be for gaming.
Any reccomdations for which motherboard ?

Thanks Gazza.

It really depends on how much you want to spend on the motherboard and how many extra bells and whistles (like onboard wi-fi etc) you want. CustomPC have a few reviews of some of the latest boards for the Core2duo chips....and talk about how good they are for overclocking too.
