Motherboard and GFX

Hello, this is my first post :)

I currently have a : Motherboard Foxconn G31MX (N15235); 4 sata ports - two free, one with HDD, one with DVDRW; IDE connector; floppy disk connector.

I'm just wondering if a GTX 260 GFX card will fit in my motherboard...

i think whole range are pci express probably not 2.0 but you wouldnt see the difference on that chipset anyway.
so it will fit, may bottleneck somewhat, what cpu do you have, and check your psu will run it 29 amps 12 volt rail.

GTX 260 will fit in your motherboard alright but there are a few things to note:

1.Check your PSU(power supply unit)if it's upto the job, you'll need min.500W branded one such as this click here and 2x 6 pin pci-e connectors.

2.Since your mobo is Matx,I assume your case isn't that big, check if there is enough space for the GX card.

3.Make sure your CPU(processor) is powerful enough,i.e. has to be min. a core2duo otherwise it'll become the bottleneck.
