more memory for graphics desplay

hi my doughter got a old pc from a mate of hers i have put 512 of ram in it. but the onboard graphics is only 32 mb theres no agp slot is there a way i can make the pc use more system ram for the graphics. thanks

If you go into BIOS there may be an option to assign memory to the graphics, if its there you can assign more memory, if it isn't then you can't. Mind you even if the option is there I'm unsure as to how much difference it will make.

If you can't allocate more RAM to the graphics chip, assuming there's a slot free, you can still get PCI graphics cards

Not a huge choice as it's old technology, but should prove a handy boost over 32 Mb on-board.
