When you get a mail that gives you doubts and you are curious but!!!!
Do this [for OE users but other system must be similar]
Open the file then go to- File/Properties/detail/message source

Then all will be revealed

The 'message source' is often spoofed, that is, it isn't the true source.

If I look at this thread in 'Helproom' I see the orginal post and one by Graham.

At 20.06 I posted a response which I can not see.

If I go to 'My Postings' the thread is there with the original posting and mine but not Grahams.

Is there a Ghost in the Machine??

  Gemma 20:28 28 May 2004

Not quite chaps. The message source is the same as view / source in IE. It displays the way the message is encoded. For most messages it will display the HTML code.

As Graham ® says, the routing information on dodgy emails is usually fake.

Ah ah

two threads - I'm not going mad.

Well so they're upto faking the fakes now
how do they do that and the ISP's not know?

This thread is now locked and can not be replied to.
