The other morning i went to turn on my PC and when i did so no picture would show up on the monitor. I checked the monitor first and after trying on another computer i found out it does work....my next guess would be that my video card is dead....since i cannot see anything on my monitor how can i switch my comp back to onboard video?

Open the case and first check that the display card is fully seated by removing and reinstalling in

the socket.

If still not working remove the display card and connect monitor to the motherboard VGA socket

Power up computer access bios and change the Internal display setting from APG/PCI-e to PCI

Check the memory chips if more than one try then one at a time

If only one memory chip change the socket or try a spare memory if you have any

Size do not mater 64, 128, etc as you only checking if the memory chip is bad and the monitor

will display
