Monitor Questions. Vol.2

  Bellboy 12:24 04 Jan 2005

I often set my monitor to "power down" in Win 98SE, but the setting is lost when I re-boot.

Is there any way to set a power saving scheme permanently?

Does the monitor support Energy plus? if so it may be you bios is not fully compliant with this but im only guessing, you may wont to wait till someone else answers.

Advanced settings in Windows has "Monitor Energy Star Compliant" greyed out, but ticked.
I can,t find the spec for this appliance to say for sure whether it is.

Take a look in your BIOS see what Power settins are aviable to you

Getting into Bios

Reboot -press delete whilst in P.O.S.T
[Some time it is another key to press- this will be indicated on screen

Solved it!
